It is with much sadness that we have received news of the death of Carlos Langelaan Alvarez.  We are very grateful to Carlos for the support he gave to our research in memory of his patient and friend, Pietro Psaier. 

 

In our interviews with Carlos, he was able to identify and verify information and photographs in our possession relating to Pietro. 

 

Over the past three years, despite multiple operations and illness, Carlos continued to support our research with dignity and courage despite being hounded by the press and others. 

 

Our condolences to his family.
